Description

Job Purpose:

To ensure accurate receipt, identification, storage, and issuance of stationary boom parts (both bought-out and fabricated) using engineering drawings, BOMs, and structured storekeeping practices. The role ensures smooth production and service operations by preventing shortages, delays, and incorrect material handling.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive and verify materials against PO, Challan, and GRN
• Ensure proper tagging, identification, and bin location of parts
• Identify components using part codes, BOMs, and engineering drawings
• Maintain segregation of materials (accepted/rejected/hold/inspection)
• Issue materials only against authorized indents and pick lists
• Maintain accurate stock records in ERP systems
• Perform cycle counts and resolve inventory discrepancies
• Coordinate with Design, Production, and QA teams for clarifications
• Maintain proper housekeeping, storage, and material preservation
• Follow up with vendors via Procurement for delivery status
• Track pending materials and escalate delays
