Technical Program Manager (TPM) – Industrial Automation Domain

Responsibilities - Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex technical programs within the industrial automation domain. - Define program scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements. - Drive cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, operations, and sales, to achieve program goals. - Identify and mitigate technical risks, dependencies, and roadblocks throughout the program lifecycle. - Facilitate technical design discussions and decision-making processes with stakeholders. - Ensure alignment of technical solutions with strategic business objectives and architecture standards. - Communicate program status, progress, and issues clearly to all levels of the organization. - Manage vendor relationships and third-party integrations essential for program success. - Implement and advocate for best practices in program management and continuous improvement. - Oversee budget and resource allocation for assigned programs. - Drive product development lifecycle from concept through deployment and post-launch optimization. Requirements - Proven track record as a Technical Program Manager or similar leadership role in industrial automation. - Deep understanding of industrial control systems, including PLCs, SCADA, HMI, and DCS. - Familiarity with industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, OPC UA, EtherNet/IP, PROFINET. - Experience with IIoT platforms, edge computing, and data analytics in industrial settings. - Proficiency in project/program management software (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, MS Project). - Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with an ability to influence without direct authority. - Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex programs concurrently in a fast-paced environment. - Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking abilities. - Ability to bridge technical and business discussions effectively. - Understanding of both agile and waterfall program management methodologies. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Automation Engineering, or a related technical field. - 7+ years of experience in engineering, product management, or program management within industrial automation. - 3+ years of direct experience as a Technical Program Manager. - Master's degree or MBA is a strong plus. - PMP, PgMP, or CSM certification highly desirable. - Experience with regulatory compliance and safety standards relevant to industrial environments.
