About the Role

We are seeking an experienced BMC TrueSight Expert with deep knowledge of BMC Helix to lead enterprise-level monitoring and automation initiatives. This role is pivotal in ensuring system reliability, proactive monitoring, and incident resolution across large-scale environments. The candidate will be part of a high-performing global team, collaborating with infrastructure and application teams to build robust monitoring frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and manage BMC TrueSight and Helix monitoring solutions across hybrid environments (on-premises + cloud).
• Develop customized monitoring dashboards, automation scripts, and alerting mechanisms.
• Define and enforce best practices for event management, incident tracking, and root cause analysis.
• Partner with cross-functional IT and DevOps teams to optimize infrastructure performance.
• Maintain system documentation, build runbooks, and provide knowledge transfer to junior team members.
• Support upgrades, patching, integrations, and migrations within TrueSight environments.
• Ensure monitoring systems comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for TrueSight/Helix within enterprise-level IT projects.

Qualifications & Skills

• 10+ years of IT experience, with 5+ years in TrueSight/Helix.
• Proven expertise in BMC Helix Operations Management, event and performance monitoring.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, Shell) for automation.
• Solid knowledge of ITIL frameworks for incident, problem, and change management.
• Ability to troubleshoot and optimize large-scale monitoring environments.
• Strong communication skills to interact with senior stakeholders.
• Experience with integrating monitoring tools with ITSM solutions like ServiceNow is a plus.
