About the Role

Sony is looking for an experienced ML/Dev Ops Engineer to work on large-scale machine learning systems, focusing on model testing, monitoring, deployment, and optimization. The candidate will collaborate across cross-functional teams to ensure smooth rollout and scalability of ML models for high-performance consumer applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Focus on ML model load testing and create E2E test cases.
• Evaluate model scalability, latency, and error rates under varying conditions.
• Automate test cases for model validation and rollout.
• Enhance model monitoring and handle incident escalations.
• Collaborate with ML engineers, backend engineers, and QA teams.
• Architect, deploy, and maintain scalable ML platforms.
• Work with feature stores and ML monitoring tools.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on expertise in Databricks, mlFlow, Seldon, Kubeflow, Tecton, Jenkins, AWS, Grafana.
• Programming in Python, Java, or Scala.
• 3+ years of industry experience (excluding academic research).
• Deep understanding of ML deployment pipelines and recommendation algorithms.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and monitoring skills.

Qualifications

• Master’s/Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.
