About the Role

We are hiring a highly experienced ETL PL/SQL Developer with 11 years of proven expertise in data engineering, ETL processes, and advanced PL/SQL programming. The role requires end-to-end involvement in designing, developing, testing, deploying, and optimizing ETL workflows while ensuring data quality, consistency, and performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), PL/SQL, and relational databases, with the ability to collaborate effectively with business and technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• ETL Development: Design, develop, and deploy robust ETL processes using ODI and other ETL tools to handle large-scale data integration across multiple systems.
• PL/SQL Development: Write, optimize, and maintain complex PL/SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers for data extraction, manipulation, and reporting.
• Data Modeling: Create and maintain logical and physical data models, data mappings, and dictionaries to ensure integrity across systems.
• Data Quality Management: Identify gaps and implement strategies to maintain accuracy, completeness, and consistency in data pipelines.
• Performance Optimization: Fine-tune queries and ETL workflows for scalability, reliability, and efficiency in high-volume environments.
• Collaboration: Partner with business stakeholders, analysts, and data scientists to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Testing and Deployment: Conduct thorough unit testing, system testing, and validation of ETL jobs and database queries before moving to production.
• Documentation: Develop and maintain detailed documentation of ETL workflows, queries, and models for audit and knowledge transfer purposes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent.
• Minimum 11 years of IT experience with a focus on ETL and PL/SQL development.
• Strong expertise in Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) and PL/SQL programming.
• Proficiency in Oracle, SQL Server, and relational database concepts.
• Solid experience in data modeling, performance tuning, and query optimization.
• Hands-on exposure to data quality management and governance frameworks.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage large-scale data migration projects.
