Test Engineer

Responsibilities - Develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans and strategies. - Design, write, and execute detailed test cases (manual and automated) across various platforms. - Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing to ensure software quality. - Identify, document, and track software defects and issues using bug tracking systems. - Collaborate closely with development, product, and other cross-functional teams. - Analyze test results, provide clear feedback, and generate quality reports. - Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes, tools, and methodologies. - Set up, configure, and maintain test environments and test data. Requirements - 3+ years of professional experience in software testing or quality assurance. - Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC). - Proficiency with test management and bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps). - Experience with test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress). - Knowledge of at least one programming or scripting language (e.g., Python, Java, C#, JavaScript). - Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, SoapUI). - Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git). - Strong SQL skills for database validation and data manipulation. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. - Strong written and verbal communication abilities. - Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team. - Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality software. - ISTQB certification is a plus. - Experience with performance, security, or load testing tools is a plus. - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices is a plus. - Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
