Job Description*

Cogentix Systems is hiring an experienced Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, secure, and optimize enterprise and cloud-based network infrastructures. The role requires deep expertise in routing, switching, firewalls, cloud networking, and security compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise and cloud network infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Manage routing & switching environments using Cisco and equivalent technologies
• Configure and manage firewalls including Palo Alto, Check Point, Cisco ASA, and ForeScout
• Implement VPNs, Zero Trust architecture, and micro-segmentation
• Perform patching, firmware upgrades, and vulnerability remediation
• Optimize and maintain F5 load balancers for high availability
• Administer Infoblox DNS, DHCP, and IPAM services
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot complex LAN/WAN/cloud issues
• Automate network operations using Python, Ansible, PowerShell, or Terraform
• Maintain detailed documentation and mentor junior engineers
