Position: Senior Analyst - Process (Pep Boys Cash Apps)

We are seeking a Senior Analyst to lead the cash application process for Pep Boys, a leading automotive service and retail chain. As the Senior Analyst - Process, you will be responsible for overseeing the accurate and efficient application of cash receipts to customer accounts.

Responsibilities:

- Manage the end-to-end cash application process for Pep Boys, ensuring timely and accurate processing of cash receipts.

- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in cash application operations.

- Review and reconcile daily cash receipts against bank deposits and sales records.

- Investigate and resolve discrepancies or issues related to cash application.

- Collaborate with internal teams such as Accounts Receivable, Finance, and Operations to address cash application inquiries and reconcile accounts.

- Provide training and guidance to junior team members.

- Generate reports and metrics to track cash application performance and identify areas for improvement.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

- Proven experience in cash application or accounts receivable, preferably in a retail or automotive industry.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
