Job Description

We are seeking an experienced SAP PP Consultant with strong hands-on expertise in S/4HANA Production Planning (PP) and related modules. The ideal candidate will have a proven background in end-to-end SAP PP implementations, process optimization, and cross-functional integration with MM, SD, QM, PM, and WM. This is a client-facing role requiring both strong technical and business process knowledge in discrete and process manufacturing industries.

The consultant will be responsible for requirement gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, and implementation of SAP PP modules, along with ensuring smooth integration across systems. A strong understanding of MRP Live, PP/DS, and embedded PP in S/4HANA is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead SAP PP implementation, support, and enhancement projects with focus on S/4HANA.
• Manage Production Planning & Control, Demand Management, Long-term Planning, MRP, CRP, Shop Floor Control, and Capacity Planning.
• Configure Material Master, BOM, Routing, Work Centers, Process Orders, and Production Orders.
• Integrate with external systems such as Kinaxis for advanced planning.
• Perform requirement gathering, gap analysis, and solution design in collaboration with business stakeholders.
• Support integration with MM, SD, QM, PM, WM modules for end-to-end process coverage.
• Conduct testing (unit, integration, UAT), system validation, and ensure adherence to SDLC best practices.
• Document technical and functional specifications.
• Work closely with global teams to ensure SLA adherence and timely delivery.
• Provide training and knowledge transfer to end-users and client teams.

• Functional Expertise:

• Process Orders, Production Orders, Kinaxis Integration.
• SAP S/4HANA Expertise:
• Hands-on experience with PP/DS, MRP Live, embedded PP.
• At least 2 full-cycle SAP implementations.
• Integration Knowledge: MM, SD, QM, PM, WM modules.
• Industry Experience: Discrete and/or Process Manufacturing.
• Technical Skills: Requirement gathering, solution design, documentation, testing.
• Soft Skills: Strong communication, client-facing ability, team collaboration, and problem-solving mindset.

Qualifications

• Education: BE / B.Tech / MCA / Graduate (Full-time)
• SAP Certification: SAP PP (ECC or S/4HANA) certification preferred
• Experience: 8 – 10 years in SAP PP with at least 2 end-to-end implementations
