About the Role

We are hiring Python Backend Leads to join our dynamic team in Bangalore. This role demands a highly skilled backend engineer with 7–10 years of experience in Python development, API design, and scalable backend systems. The selected candidates will contribute to the architecture, design, development, and optimization of robust applications supporting enterprise-scale digital platforms.

This is a high-impact role where you will be expected to lead development initiatives, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and deliver innovative, high-quality backend solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems using Python.
• Build and optimize APIs leveraging frameworks like FastAPI or FlaskAPI.
• Collaborate with front-end developers, data scientists, and DevOps engineers to deliver cohesive solutions.
• Utilize Python libraries such as Pandas, Numpy, and Matplotlib to support data-driven and machine learning applications.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following industry best practices.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve complex software issues.
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Integrate backend services with SQL and NoSQL databases such as Postgres, MongoDB, and CRDB.
• Implement middleware orchestration solutions using tools like Mulesoft and Microsoft BizTalk.
• Develop and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and deployment.
• Create comprehensive documentation for technical specifications, APIs, and processes.
• Conduct unit, integration, and end-to-end testing for backend services.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the overall team’s technical growth.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong proficiency in Python programming.
• Expertise with FastAPI, FlaskAPI, and RESTful API design.
• Solid understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Proficiency in Pandas, Numpy, Matplotlib, and Plotly.
• Experience with middleware orchestration (Mulesoft, BizTalk).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
• Excellent debugging and performance optimization skills.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership abilities.
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and modern development practices.
