Program Manager – Industrial Automation Responsibilities - Lead the planning, execution, and closing of complex industrial automation programs. - Define program scope, objectives, deliverables, and success metrics in collaboration with stakeholders. - Develop and manage detailed program budgets, resource plans, and timelines. - Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, sales, manufacturing, and supply chain. - Identify and mitigate program risks, dependencies, and issues proactively. - Communicate program status, updates, and key decisions to executive leadership and relevant teams. - Ensure adherence to industry standards, quality control processes, and safety regulations. - Drive continuous improvement initiatives for program management processes and tools. - Facilitate technical discussions and decision-making for automation solutions. - Manage external vendors, contractors, and partners involved in program delivery. Requirements - Proven experience managing complex programs in industrial automation or a related field. - Strong understanding of industrial control systems (PLCs, SCADA, DCS), robotics, and IIoT. - Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Scrum). - Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams effectively. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. - Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a results-oriented approach. - Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment. - Experience with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Asana). - Willingness to travel as needed for program meetings and site visits. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Automation) or a related technical discipline. - Master's degree or MBA is a plus. - Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification is highly preferred. - 7+ years of progressive experience in project or program management roles. - 3+ years of experience specifically within the industrial automation sector.
