Package Consultant-SAP FIN PS-Capital Accounting

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP FIN PS (Capital Accounting) Consultant with 6–9 years of expertise in SAP FICO and Project Systems (PS). The ideal candidate should have strong functional knowledge of finance, planning, budgeting, forecasting, and project accounting, along with experience in SAP implementations, enhancements, and support. The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders to deliver scalable SAP solutions aligned with organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and support SAP FICO and Project Systems (PS) modules to meet business requirements.
• Analyze, design, and implement finance and project accounting solutions.
• Support planning processes, including cost center planning, internal order planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Manage project planning, project cost structures, and integration between SAP PS and FI modules.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams during implementation, rollout, enhancement, and support activities.
• Troubleshoot functional issues and provide effective resolutions within defined SLAs.
• Support system integration activities involving interfaces, ALE, and IDocs.
• Prepare functional specifications, documentation, testing, and end-user support.
• Ensure SAP solutions follow best practices and align with business processes.

Mandatory Skills

• 6–9 years of hands-on experience in SAP FICO and SAP Project Systems (PS).
• Strong understanding of finance and controlling business processes.
• Expertise in:
• Cost Center Planning
• Internal Order Planning
• Budgeting and Forecasting
• Project Planning and Project Cost Structures
• Strong knowledge of SAP PS integration with SAP FI.
• Experience in SAP implementation, rollout, enhancement, and support projects.
• Understanding of ALE, IDocs, and middleware-based interface architecture.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaborate within cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA.
• Knowledge of interface architecture and integration technologies.
• Exposure to global project environments.
• Strong documentation and functional specification skills.

Educational Qualification

• Chartered Accountant (CA), ICWA/CMA, Company Secretary (CS), MBA (Finance), or an equivalent qualification.
