Oracle Apps EBS Finance Technical Consultant

Responsibilities - Design, develop, test, and implement technical solutions for Oracle EBS Financial modules (GL, AP, AR, FA, CE, PO, AGIS, SLA). - Develop and support custom RICEW objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, Workflows) using PL/SQL, SQL, Oracle Forms, Reports, OAF, BI Publisher. - Collaborate with functional consultants and business users to gather and analyze technical requirements and specifications. - Perform root cause analysis and resolve technical issues, providing ongoing support and maintenance for Oracle EBS applications. - Optimize application performance and ensure system stability and reliability. - Conduct unit testing, system integration testing, and support user acceptance testing. - Assist in data migration, upgrades, and patching activities for Oracle EBS environments. - Create and maintain detailed technical design documentation, test plans, and other project artifacts. Requirements - Proven experience as an Oracle EBS Finance Technical Consultant. - Strong proficiency in PL/SQL, SQL, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, OAF, Oracle Workflow, and BI Publisher. - In-depth understanding of the Oracle EBS Financials data model and underlying tables for modules such as GL, AP, AR, FA, CE, and PO. - Experience with Oracle standard APIs, open interfaces, and concurrent programs. - Familiarity with development tools like SQL Developer, Toad, JDeveloper, and Workflow Builder. - Hands-on experience with technical aspects of EBS implementations, upgrades, and support projects. - Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions. - Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field. - Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences. - Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a collaborative team. - Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic environment. - Oracle certifications in relevant EBS technical areas are a plus.
