Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Embedded Software Engineer with strong expertise in C/C++ programming, embedded systems, RTOS, and audio technologies. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with embedded development, debugging, audio streaming frameworks, and software development tools.

Key Responsibilities & Requirements

• Strong programming and analytical skills with proficiency in C and C++.
• Solid understanding of embedded systems, including RTOS, interrupts, tasks, scheduling, and system-level programming.
• Hands-on experience or familiarity with audio streaming frameworks such as OpenMAX, SOF (Sound Open Firmware), and ALSA.
• Good knowledge of audio protocols and interfaces including I²S, TDM, and PCM.
• Experience using debugging and audio measurement tools such as CRO (Oscilloscope), Logic Analyzer, and Audio Precision.
• Ability to understand and interpret hardware schematics, datasheets, and technical specifications.
• Experience with Git, CMake, CI/CD pipelines, and unit testing.
• Familiarity with software development and build environments used for embedded systems.
• Knowledge of UML and system/design documentation tools, such as Microsoft Visio.
• Ability to collaborate with hardware, firmware, and system engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.

Preferred Skills

• Strong problem-solving and debugging capabilities.
• Good understanding of embedded software development life cycle.
• Experience working with audio/embedded platforms will be an added advantage.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
