Azure .NET Architect

Responsibilities - Design, architect, and lead the development of scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions on Microsoft Azure leveraging .NET technologies. - Define and enforce architectural standards, patterns, and best practices across development teams. - Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to software engineers. - Conduct architectural reviews, code reviews, and provide constructive feedback to ensure solution quality and adherence to design principles. - Collaborate with product owners, stakeholders, and other architects to translate business requirements into technical specifications and architectural designs. - Evaluate new Azure services and .NET technologies, recommending their adoption where appropriate to enhance system capabilities and efficiency. - Ensure solutions comply with security, compliance, and governance requirements. - Drive the adoption of DevOps practices, automation, and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines. - Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to architecture, infrastructure, and application performance. - Develop technical roadmaps and strategies for cloud-native application development. Requirements - Extensive experience in designing and implementing enterprise-scale applications using Microsoft .NET framework and .NET Core. - Deep expertise in Azure cloud services, including but not limited to Azure App Service, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Functions, Azure Service Bus, Azure SQL Database, Cosmos DB, Azure DevOps, Azure AD, and API Management. - Proven experience with architectural patterns such as microservices, event-driven architectures, serverless, and domain-driven design. - Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies, particularly Agile and Scrum. - Proficiency in C#, ASP.NET Core, RESTful APIs, and database technologies (SQL and NoSQL). - Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and modern DevOps practices. - Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes). - Solid understanding of cloud security best practices, identity management, and compliance standards. - Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. - 10+ years of progressive experience in software development, with at least 5 years in an architect role focused on Azure and .NET. - Demonstrated experience leading and mentoring technical teams. - Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert AZ-305) are highly preferred. - Mastery of architectural principles, design patterns, and enterprise integration patterns. - Ability to make critical architectural decisions and drive their implementation. - Strong business acumen and the ability to align technology solutions with strategic business objectives.
