Application Developer – SAP UX

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled SAP UX Application Developer with expertise in SAP Fiori/UI5, SAP ABAP, OData Services, and SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAPM). The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting modern SAP applications on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), while collaborating with business stakeholders and customers to deliver scalable, user-centric solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and enhance SAP Fiori/UI5 applications using SAPUI5, JavaScript, and OData.
• Build, extend, and maintain ABAP-based OData services to support SAP UI applications.
• Develop cloud-native applications using SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAPM) on SAP BTP.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across frontend, backend, and integration layers.
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and ensure high-quality application delivery.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and deployment guides.
• Develop applications using SAP Business Application Studio (BAS), SAP Web IDE, or Visual Studio Code.
• Collaborate with functional teams, architects, and customers to understand business requirements and deliver effective technical solutions.
• Follow SAP development standards, cloud best practices, and clean core principles throughout the development lifecycle.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3–6 years of experience in SAP application development.
• Strong hands-on expertise in SAPUI5, JavaScript, OData Services, ABAP, and CAPM.
• Good understanding of SAP Fiori architecture and end-to-end application development.
• Experience working in both on-premise ABAP and SAP BTP cloud environments.
• Strong knowledge of frontend-backend integration and service-oriented architecture.
• Experience with SAP Business Application Studio (BAS), SAP Web IDE, or Visual Studio Code.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with experience interacting directly with customers.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with ABAP Cloud and RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP).
• Exposure to SAP BTP services such as Workflow, SAP Build Process Automation (BPA), Destinations, Connectivity, and related cloud services.
• Understanding of SAP Clean Core principles and SAP development best practices.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
