Application Developer – Microsoft Power Platform (M365 Copilot Operations & Governance Engineer)

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled M365 Copilot Operations & Governance Engineer with 3–6 years of experience in managing and governing Microsoft 365 environments. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Microsoft Power Platform, Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft Purview, automation, governance, compliance, and tenant administration. This role involves ensuring secure, compliant, and efficient Microsoft 365 operations while driving automation and optimizing licensing and operational costs.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and administer Microsoft 365 tenant operations, including Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft Purview, Power Platform, and identity governance.
• Configure and maintain Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and Privileged Identity Management (PIM) to ensure secure access management.
• Plan, coordinate, and implement Microsoft 365 Evergreen releases, feature updates, and service improvements.
• Establish and enforce governance, security, and compliance policies across the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
• Ensure adherence to data protection, information security, and workplace compliance standards.
• Develop and maintain audit-ready documentation, operational procedures, and governance reports.
• Automate administrative tasks using PowerShell, Microsoft Graph API, and related automation tools.
• Create dashboards and reports using Power BI to monitor operational KPIs, service health, and platform performance.
• Optimize Microsoft 365 licensing, subscriptions, and operational costs while maximizing platform utilization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business requirements, platform enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in Microsoft 365 tenant administration and governance.
• Hands-on expertise with Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft Purview, and Microsoft Power Platform.
• Experience with RBAC, Privileged Identity Management (PIM), and identity governance.
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 Evergreen release management and service lifecycle.
• Understanding of governance, compliance, information security, and data protection practices.
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and Microsoft Graph API automation.
• Experience creating operational dashboards and reports using Power BI.
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 licensing models and cost optimization strategies.
• Strong analytical, documentation, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Microsoft certifications in Microsoft 365, Power Platform, Azure, Security, or Identity Management are preferred.
• Experience working in enterprise IT operations, governance, or cloud administration environments.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and service management practices is an added advantage.
