Job Description*

Cogentix Systems is looking for a highly experienced Wintel Engineer to design, implement, and manage enterprise-level Windows and virtualized infrastructure across on-premise and Azure cloud environments. This role is ideal for professionals with strong automation and cloud exposure who can work in hybrid setups.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, deploy, and manage Wintel infrastructure across on-prem and Azure environments
• Configure and maintain VMware vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, and virtual workloads
• Manage Azure IaaS including VM provisioning, backup, monitoring, and networking
• Administer Active Directory, Group Policies, Entra ID, and authentication services
• Automate infrastructure tasks using Ansible, PowerShell, Python, and Bash
• Perform server patching, hardening, and security compliance activities
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and ensure high availability
• Collaborate with networking, security, and DevOps teams
• Mentor junior engineers and support best practices
