Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced BMC TrueSight Expert with extensive expertise in enterprise monitoring solutions. The candidate will be responsible for administration, configuration, integration, and troubleshooting of BMC TrueSight systems, ensuring stability, scalability, and efficiency of monitoring environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end administration of BMC TrueSight Operations Management (10.x & later).
• Install, configure, and upgrade TrueSight components and Patrol Agents across diverse OS environments (Windows, RHEL, AIX, Solaris).
• Configure and manage monitoring solutions using knowledge modules (KMs) such as DB, WebSphere, Exchange, Sentry hardware/monitoring studio, OS, LOG, URL, etc.
• Develop, deploy, and maintain event management policies, MRLs, and custom classes for efficient monitoring and alerting.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with Patrol Agents, server components, and integration workflows.
• Collaborate with IT infrastructure teams to monitor data centers, servers, virtualization environments, and critical enterprise applications.
• Provide performance analysis, root-cause troubleshooting, and recommendations to optimize monitoring coverage.
• Support audit, compliance, and reporting requirements as per organizational standards.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in BMC TrueSight Operations Management.
• Strong understanding of installation, upgrade, integration, and configuration of BMC TrueSight systems.
• Expertise in Patrol Agent deployment and knowledge module configuration (DB, middleware, OS, etc.).
• Experience in Event Management policy design and administration.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting issues across Unix/Linux/Windows OS and virtualized environments.
• Familiarity with IT infrastructure components, performance monitoring, and data center operations.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Certifications in TrueSight will be an added advantage.
