Stock Management Executive

Job Overview

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Stock Management Executive to manage inventory operations at our saree showroom. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate stock records, monitoring inward and outward stock, conducting physical stock verification, and ensuring proper availability and organization of sarees and other showroom products.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily stock inward and outward activities.
• Maintain accurate inventory records in registers or inventory software.
• Receive and verify new saree stock against invoices and purchase orders.
• Check quantity, quality, designs, colors, sizes, and product codes during stock receipt.
• Organize sarees systematically in the stockroom for easy identification and retrieval.
• Monitor stock levels and identify fast-moving, slow-moving, and non-moving products.
• Conduct regular physical stock counts and stock audits.
• Reconcile physical stock with system records and identify discrepancies.
• Coordinate with the sales team regarding stock availability.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly stock reports.
• Ensure proper tagging, labeling, and barcode management of products.
• Track damaged, defective, exchanged, or returned products.
• Coordinate with suppliers and purchase teams for stock-related issues.
• Maintain proper documentation for all inventory transactions.
• Ensure the stockroom is clean, organized, and secure.

Requirements

• 0–5 years of experience in stock management, inventory management, retail, or showroom operations.
• Experience in a saree, textile, garment, fashion, or retail showroom will be preferred.
• Good knowledge of inventory handling and stock reconciliation.
• Basic knowledge of MS Excel and inventory management software.
• Good attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• Ability to maintain proper records and documentation.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of saree/textile products and categories.
• Experience with barcode/scanner-based inventory systems.
• Knowledge of stock auditing and reconciliation.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

Salary & Benefits

Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹30,000 per month, depending on experience and skills.
