Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior FLEXCUBE Technical / Functional Consultant with strong expertise in Oracle FLEXCUBE Core Banking and related Oracle Banking products. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in FLEXCUBE v14.x, core banking modules, implementation, functional analysis, and technical/functional solutioning.

Mandatory Requirements

• 8–20 years of experience in FLEXCUBE / Core Banking within the banking domain.
• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle FLEXCUBE v14.x.
• Experience with Oracle Banking Payments (OBPM) along with FLEXCUBE.
• Strong knowledge of core banking modules, including:
• CASA
• Term Deposits
• Loans / Lending
• Trade Finance
• Treasury – Forex, Money Markets, Securities & Derivatives
• Payments
• Experience with Oracle Banking products such as:
• OBPM – Oracle Banking Payments
• OBBRN – Oracle Banking Branch
• OBTFPM – Oracle Banking Trade Finance Process Management
• OBCL – Oracle Banking Corporate Lending
• Loan Origination
• Experience working with FLEXCUBE versions 12.x to 14.x.
• Candidates with a strong product background in FLEXCUBE / Oracle Banking are preferred.
• Strong experience in end-to-end implementation of core banking applications.

Technical & Functional Expertise

• Strong understanding of FLEXCUBE/Core Banking architecture, modules, and functionality.
• Hands-on experience in systems analysis and SDLC processes.
• Strong understanding of at least one or more banking domains:
• CASA & Term Deposits
• Loans
• Trade Finance
• Treasury
• Payments
• Ability to gather, analyse, and document business requirements and user processes.
• Prepare and validate functional and technical specifications.
• Analyse reported issues, identify root causes and business/technical impact, and provide appropriate workarounds or fixes.
• Review and evaluate functional and technical design specifications from both business and technical perspectives.
• Strong experience in stakeholder management and coordination with internal teams, vendors, and business users.
• Ability to provide regular updates and visibility to senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand and analyse business requirements related to core banking and FLEXCUBE.
• Drive functional and technical discussions with business stakeholders and technology teams.
• Support end-to-end implementation, integration, testing, and deployment of FLEXCUBE solutions.
• Work closely with internal teams and vendors to resolve application issues.
• Conduct impact analysis and recommend effective solutions.
• Review solution/design documents and ensure alignment with business requirements.
• Coordinate with key stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide technical and functional guidance to project teams.
• Ensure timely delivery of solutions while maintaining quality and compliance with banking requirements.

Oracle Employment Criteria

• Candidates currently working with Oracle will generally not be considered.
• Candidates who have previously worked with Oracle may be considered only if they have a minimum 2-year gap after leaving Oracle.
• Candidates from any location in India can be considered, subject to Remote/Hybrid work requirements.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Strong background in Oracle FLEXCUBE / Oracle Banking Products.
• Hands-on experience with FLEXCUBE 12.x–14.x.
• Strong combination of technical and functional expertise.
• Experience in banking product implementations and complex core banking environments.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
