PHP/Wordpress Developer

Responsibilities

- Develop, maintain, and optimize responsive WordPress websites.

- Design and implement new features, themes, and plugins from scratch.

- Customize existing WordPress themes and plugins to meet specific project requirements.

- Ensure high performance, availability, and security of websites.

- Conduct thorough website testing, debugging, and troubleshooting.

- Optimize websites for speed, scalability, and SEO best practices.

- Collaborate effectively with designers, content creators, and other development team members.

- Implement and manage website backups and restore procedures.

- Stay informed about the latest WordPress developments, industry trends, and security updates.

Requirements

- Proven professional experience as a WordPress Developer.

- Strong proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.

- Deep understanding of WordPress core, theme hierarchy, and plugin architecture.

- Experience with custom post types, taxonomies, custom fields (e.g., ACF), and REST APIs.

- Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.

- Knowledge of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.

- Experience with debugging tools and techniques.

- Ability to translate mockups (e.g., PSD, Figma) into fully functional WordPress sites.

- Understanding of web performance optimization techniques. Qualifications
