Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced IFS Project Manager / Senior Project Manager with 8–12 years of relevant experience in IFS ERP implementation, transformation, rollout, and project management.

The candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end IFS ERP projects, including planning, implementation, stakeholder management, resource management, risk management, testing, cutover, go-live, and post-go-live stabilization.

The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of IFS ERP and experience working across multiple functional areas such as Project Management, Supply Chain/MM, Finance & Accounting, Assets & Maintenance, and Core HRMS.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Planning & Delivery

• Lead end-to-end IFS ERP implementation, rollout, and transformation projects.
• Develop and manage project plans, timelines, milestones, deliverables, and resource requirements.
• Manage project scope, budget, risks, dependencies, and overall delivery.
• Establish project governance, reporting, review mechanisms, and communication plans.
• Monitor project progress and ensure timely delivery within agreed scope, budget, and quality parameters.
• Conduct regular project reviews with business stakeholders and leadership.

2. IFS ERP Functional Leadership

Provide overall project leadership and coordination across relevant IFS modules, including:

• Project Management / Project Planning
• Supply Chain Management / Materials Management (MM)
• Finance & Accounting
• General Ledger (GL)
• Accounts Payable (AP)
• Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Financial & Cost Reporting
• Cost Accounting
• Asset Management
• Maintenance Management

3. Stakeholder & Client Management

• Act as the primary point of contact for business stakeholders, project sponsors, and senior management.
• Conduct requirement-gathering workshops, process discussions, solution reviews, and design sessions.
• Understand business requirements and ensure appropriate IFS ERP solutions are delivered.
• Manage expectations across business, IT, functional, and technical teams.
• Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior management.

4. IFS ERP Implementation

Manage the complete ERP implementation lifecycle, including:

• Requirement Gathering
• Business Process Analysis
• Fit-Gap Analysis
• Solution Design
• Configuration
• Development / Customization
• System Integration
• Testing & Defect Management

5. Team & Resource Management

• Lead cross-functional IFS functional, technical, integration, testing, and support teams.
• Define roles and responsibilities and allocate resources effectively.
• Monitor team performance, productivity, and deliverables.
• Mentor and guide project team members.
• Coordinate with external implementation partners and vendors.

6. Risk, Issue & Change Management

• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks.
• Manage project issues, dependencies, escalations, and resolution plans.
• Maintain RAID logs and project governance mechanisms.
• Evaluate change requests and assess their impact on scope, cost, and timelines.
• Ensure timely decision-making and issue resolution.

7. Testing, Cutover & Go-Live

• Drive SIT, UAT, regression testing, and defect resolution.
• Coordinate business readiness and user acceptance activities.
• Lead cutover and go-live planning and execution.
• Ensure smooth transition to support teams.
• Manage post-go-live stabilization and hypercare activities.

Mandatory Skills & Experience

• 8–12 years of overall experience, with strong relevant experience in IFS ERP / IFS Project Management.
• Proven experience managing end-to-end IFS ERP implementation or transformation projects.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of IFS ERP implementation methodologies and business processes.
• Experience in managing cross-functional ERP teams.
• Strong exposure to one or more of the following IFS functional areas:
• Project Planning / Project Management
• Supply Chain / Materials Management
• Finance & Accounting
• Assets & Maintenance
• Core HRMS
• Strong project planning, governance, reporting, risk, issue, and change management skills.
• Proven experience in stakeholder, client, and senior management management.
• Experience managing ERP implementation activities from requirement gathering through go-live and hypercare.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and leadership skills.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with business users, functional consultants, technical teams, vendors, and senior leadership.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• IFS certification or relevant IFS implementation credentials.
• PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum, or equivalent project management certification.
• Experience with large-scale or global ERP transformation programs.
• Experience in Manufacturing, Banking, or other enterprise environments.
• Experience working with external implementation partners and system integrators.
• Strong understanding of business process transformation and ERP optimization.
