Job Description

We are seeking a CAE Analyst – NVH with proven expertise in noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) simulations for automotive systems. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with industry-standard CAE tools and a deep understanding of mechanical dynamics, acoustics, and full vehicle/subsystem-level vibration analysis. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to interpret simulation results and provide actionable design recommendations that enhance vehicle performance and customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform NVH simulations for full vehicle and subsystem levels, focusing on modal analysis, frequency response, structure-borne noise, and transfer path analysis
• Utilize Hypermesh for pre-processing and Optistruct or Nastran for solver operations
• Interpret CAE results and provide design improvement recommendations to meet performance targets
• Conduct vibration analysis and troubleshooting for automotive systems and components
• Collaborate with design, testing, and validation teams to ensure simulation accuracy and relevance
• Prepare and deliver technical reports detailing methodologies, results, and recommendations
• Support product development cycles by ensuring NVH performance compliance at all stages
• Participate in technical reviews, offering insights to enhance product quality and performance
• Maintain knowledge of latest NVH simulation techniques, tools, and industry best practices

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: BE/ME in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering
• Experience: 5 – 6 years in CAE NVH analysis for automotive applications
• Mandatory Skills:
• Hypermesh (Pre-Processor)
• Optistruct and Nastran (Solver)
• NVH simulation techniques (modal, frequency response, structure-borne noise, transfer path)
• Additional Skills:
• Strong fundamentals in mechanical dynamics and acoustics
• Experience in interpreting CAE results and recommending design changes
• Good communication, documentation, and presentation skills
• Experience in cross-functional product development teams
