1. Job Purpose

● Overview: The Concrete Technologist will act as the technical bridge between customers, Sales, and Service teams, providing expertise in concrete mix design, site practices, and troubleshooting. The role focuses on ensuring customer satisfaction through on-site support, training, and resolution of concrete-related issues in pumping and batching operations.

2. Key Responsibilities

Customer & Sales Support

● Assist Sales team in pre-sales activities by presenting concrete application know-how and demonstrating product capability at customer sites.

● Provide technical inputs during customer discussions and site visits to highlight performance benefits of Aquarius equipment.

● Build trust with clients by offering practical solutions to their concrete handling challenges.

Service & Troubleshooting

● Support Service engineers in diagnosing and resolving pumpability and batching issues at customer sites.

● Conduct root cause analysis of site complaints relating to workability, segregation, setting, or pumping failures.

● Provide corrective recommendations and ensure quick closure of customer issues.

Training & Knowledge Sharing

● Conduct customer training sessions on best practices in concrete mix design, batching, placement.

● Train internal Sales/Service staff on common concrete problems and troubleshooting methods.

● Prepare technical guides and FAQs for field teams.

Field Trials & Demonstrations

● Plan and execute site trials in collaboration with Sales, Service, and QA teams.

● Test performance of new admixtures, SCMs, and materials under real conditions and report findings.

● Showcase equipment capability in demanding site scenarios to strengthen customer confidence.

Collaboration with Internal Teams

● Coordinate with QA and Design teams to ensure customer feedback is translated into product and process improvements.

● Liaise with cement, admixture, and additive suppliers for joint demonstrations and technical support.

3. Required Qualifications

Education:

B.E./M.Tech in Civil Engineering (specialisation in Concrete Technology / Materials preferred).

Experience:

10 years plus

Certifications/Licenses:

Sound understanding of IS codes and concrete quality standards.

Special Skills:

Strong customer orientation and problem-solving approach.

Ability to explain technical concepts in simple, practical language to site staff.

Effective communication and presentation skills.

5. Working Conditions

● Work Environment: Head Office, Pune; Willingness to travel extensively across India. 6. CTC 13 LPA
