1. Job Purpose

• Overview:
• To ensure accurate accounting, statutory compliance, and effective management of direct tax and investment-related accounting activities at the Head Office, while supporting routine coordination with banks and external consultants.

2. Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Finance

• Maintain books of accounts in Tally and company ERP systems
• Ensure accurate day-to-day accounting entries, reconciliations, and ledger scrutiny
• Handle investment accounting, including tracking, reconciliation, and reporting
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities

Taxation & Compliance

• Preparation and filing of Income Tax Returns (ITRs)
• Assist in computation of taxable income and tax provisions
• Coordinate with external Chartered Accountants for assessments, audits, and clarifications
• Maintain proper documentation for tax and statutory records

Banking & Coordination

• Liaise with banks for routine transactions, documentation, and follow-ups
• Coordinate with external consultants, auditors, and statutory authorities as required
• Occasional local travel to banks, consultants, or statutory offices

Reporting & Controls

• Prepare MIS reports using Excel for management review
• Ensure adherence to company accounting policies and internal controls
• Support audits and provide required data and explanations

3. Required Qualifications

Education:

  B.Com (mandatory)

  CA – Inter (preferred)

Experience:

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in:

Accounting and finance operations

Direct taxation

Statutory and regulatory compliance

4. Other Requirements

• Willingness to undertake local travel within Pune for official work
• High standards of integrity and confidentiality
• Preference for candidates based in Pune
• Gender Preference: Female
